Herbert Johnson

Swaine Fedora - Navy

£395.00

THE LIMITED EDITION PATINA COLLECTION

Step into the legacy of Herbert Johnson at Swaine with this distinguished hat steeped in history and tradition. Handcrafted as an homage to the pastoral gentlemen of the early 1800s, this fedora captures the essence of a bygone era when style was as much about presence as it was about practicality. Designed to highlight the contours of the face and elevate the wearer’s gaze, the Swaine fedora is a statement of effortless charm and cultivated taste.

Defined by its sweeping brim, it is both stately and flirtatious; designed to pair with a sharp tailored ensemble or worn with casual sophistication.

Available in a limited edition selection of colours inspired by Swaine's traditional bridle leathers, this range offers eye-catching hues that are both classic and vibrant. The Swaine Fedora is a statement-making piece for outerwear this spring, combining timeless tradition with fresh, attractive tones for versatile styling.

Every Swaine Fedora is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail using only the finest sustainably sourced materials.

Avoid handling your hat by the crown as you could wear out the front pinch. Holding your hat by the brim is the best way to handle any hat. We advise against wearing your hat in heavy rain. If your fur felt hat does get wet, shake off any excess water and allow to dry naturally placed brim faced down at room temperature. Never force dry your hat using any form of heat source. If required, use your hands to gently reinforce the shaping of the crown and brim. When completely dry, lightly brush to clean.

For this product from our Ready-To Wear (Paratus) Collection, please follow the following sizing advice...

Place the string or tape around your head above your ear and across the mid forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Measure your head exactly where you want the hat to sit. Measure in centimetres. If your measurement falls between sizes, round up to the nearest centimetre. It may help to either do this in the mirror or have someone to help for accuracy.

A professional measuring service is also offered at the SWAINE London Stores.

Our Panama hat ranges run small so we recommend ordering a size up from your head measurement.
