Helen McCrory describes herself as 'a pain in the neck' when it comes to costume. She gets very involved with all aspects of her character's costume design because it is of great importance to her and if she doesn't like something or it isn't right, she will not wear it.
Having read this excellent article, we are truly honoured that she was so happy with the hats we made for her for Peaky Blinders Series 5.

The Herbert Johnson team were delighted to see two of the hats we created for season 5 of the show featured in this article. During the interview, Helen McCrory was asked - "what was her favourite moment in the making of the new series? According to McCrory, it was appearing in a suit, sunglasses and hat, leaning cockily against a period car." We agree that she did look amazing in that beautifully curated outfit by costume designer Alison McCosh and topped off with our handcrafted 'Origami Darkwood' hat! Stunning! Our 'Coral Fan' hat style was also featured in the article.
